I'm intensely interested in people, especially artists, that live on the border of society. Not outside, but on the edges. Kerouac, James Dean, William Burroughs. This is in large part because I'm such a square and they are so unlike me.
I see. I wonder if there is a way to live on the border of society without falling in the stupid trap of alcohol-drugs-cars-homeless life. I am vaguely thinking of a lifestyle different from the majority, based on independence of thought. I am sure that there are people like that.
